Welcome! We are an inclusive faith community welcoming of people of differing backgrounds and spiritual and religious beliefs. I am the Reverend Stephanie Gannon and am excited to begin my ministry here this fall. I welcome you to the congregation and look forward to meeting you. Worship is at 10:30 am on Sunday.

A little about me: I received my Master’s of Divinity with a focus on Psychiatry & Religion from Union Theological Seminary in NYC in May 2015. I was ordained into Unitarian Universalist ministry on Earth Day earlier this year after serving in congregations in NYC and Toronto. My ministerial portfolio has a special emphasis on pastoral care-giving, Small Group Ministry, eco-spirituality, and food justice.

I also currently serve as a Chaplain at VA Pittsburgh Health System, where I’m exploring the effectiveness of different spiritual interventions with veterans coping with addictions as well as mental health diagnoses. I am also a certified Hatha yoga instructor and include mindfulness practices in my clinical work at the hospital.

I look forward to welcoming you to our caring, justice-oriented community soon!

Blessings,

Rev. Stephanie     (minister@esuuc.org)
